You’ve been waiting for it… it’s back! This summer, The Medieval Epic returns to Château Robert le Diable for a second edition that’s set to make some noise. The soldiers’ troupe made the most of the winter to refine their techniques, expand the camp, and prepare unusual new surprises for you.
From Saturday, July 4 to Sunday, August 2, a tough-as-nails sergeant and his highly energetic troop of soldiers take over the moats of Château Robert le Diable. Their mission? To take you on a journey through time with a smile on your face. Giant shows, stunts, medieval combat, humour, and continuous camp life… come and experience a true medieval epic!
Mark your calendars, prepare your armour. The bell will soon ring. Will you be part of it?
Program :
🔔 Attention : as soon as the bell rings, the camp comes to a stop and the show begins!
Weekdays (Wednesday to Friday) | 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm:
- 2:00 pm | Immediate recruitment! “Soldier training”: Ready to go from civilian to elite recruit? A hands-on experience to test your courage.
- 4:00 pm | The Grand Show! “The Tightrope”: Pure action, stunts, and guaranteed laughter.
- 6:00 pm | The final showdown: A concluding demonstration of medieval combat.
- 7:00 pm | Gates close (back to the 21st century).
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) | 11 am – 7 pm:
- 11:00 am | Park opening: Explore the camp, enjoy medieval games, and take part in activities for children.
- 11:30 am | The Sergeant’s briefing: come and meet the troupe.
- 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm | The truce for hungry bellies: Static entertainment and on-site food and drink.
- 2:00 pm | Immediate recruitment! “Soldier training”: A second chance for latecomers.
- 4:00 pm | The Grand Show! “The Tightrope”: The must-see flagship performance.
- 6:00 pm | The final showdown: A concluding medieval combat demonstration.
- 7:00 pm | Gates close (return to the 21st century).
Bonus on weekends: on-site food and drink for both young and grown-up knights! A great opportunity to rediscover our heritage while having fun.
